Work Changes Lives
We create paid supported employment opportunities for people living with disability through our social enterprise.
About Us
Purpose of The Supported Kitchen Inc
01.
To advance the wellbeing of communities by providing opportunities for individuals to engage with food and initiatives.
02.
To utilise food centred activities as a strategic approach to build meaningful social connections and reinforce community engagement.
03.
Promote self-reliance and the wellbeing of community.
Our Impact
The Supported Kitchen is more than a place to cook
As a social enterprise, The Supported Kitchen creates meaningful employment and training pathways through the universal language of food. Participants learn hands-on in a real kitchen environment, producing quality food products that are sold to the wider community — turning every purchase into a vote for a more inclusive world.
The Supported Kitchen offers something just as nourishing: confidence, connection, and the dignity of meaningful work.
By bridging the gap between potential and opportunity, The Supported Kitchen is reshaping what's possible for people with disabilities — one meal, one skill, one person at a time.
Inspiring tales of our Social Enterprises

Lily's Dog Treats
Lily’s Dog Treats are not only a healthy, high-quality option for pets—they’re also a product with purpose. These treats are lovingly handmade by people living with a disability, supported by dedicated support workers, in paid supported employment. It’s a wonderful initiative that brings both joy and meaningful opportunity to the community.

100 mile foodie
My name is Marlene Hoff and my business 100 Mile Foodie is an NDIS provider. I am a chef, hospitality trainer, cooking school owner/teacher and have taught cooking from prep-Year 12 students, plus adults in many settings including TAFE. We support NDIS participants by encouraging the development of independent living skills through teaching participants about nutritious food choices with a hands-on approach.
